I had the good fortune of being blessed with Mantra Diksha by Pujya Bapuji in the year 2001. On the 29th of July 2003, I met with an accident in which I was caught in between a bus and a truck.
I had sustained 19 fractures on both sides of my chest, and the right clavicle bone was hanging loose. The next day, Doctors of the famous Calcutta Hospital sent a message to my family members to have a last look at me before death. When they came to know about this, some 300 people comprising of family members and sadhaka brothers and sisters in the Kolkata Ashram prayed to Pujya Bapuji to save my life. They recited the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra 21 times in unison. Whereupon with the benign grace of Pujya Bapuji, I narrowly escaped from the jaws of death and obtained a new lease of life.
A famous astrologer had predicted some fifteen years back that I was under the bad planetary influence of Rahu and that this will trouble me for a number of years. As per that prediction I would still be under Rahus evil influence. Before taking Diksha, I had suffered considerable trials and tribulations in all fronts of my life including business and otherwise for some 11 years. But since taking Diksha, I have been doing quite well in my business. At every difficult turn, I find some divine providence helping me and alleviating all my troubles. As such, I find myself lighthearted and absolutely carefree.
Earlier, I used to consult some 20 to 25 astrologers. Each would talk of an unfavourable planetary influence and recommend that I wear one precious stone or the other. But since taking Mantra Diksha from Pujya Bapuji, I have never consulted a single astrologer nor have I felt the need to do so.
Anyone who comes into contact with my Sadguru, Who is supremely accomplished with the combined powers of Yoga and Self-Knowledge, finds his difficulties gone. He attains a much higher plane of understanding. As one listens to Pujya Bapujis satsang, one transcends body-consciousness and develops equanimity and abilities. What can the planets whose range of influence is limited only to the mind and the physical body do to such a sadhaka. Rather they would always seek out an opportunity to align their influences in his favour and feel blessed.
